Slow cooked the brisket and it was universally pronounced delicious! Will be back for more to celebrate more holidays.

I am very happy I found Yankee Farmers Market. I was searching for raw Bison Dog food, which has been a wonderful addition to my dogs diet and budget friendly for me. I picked up the order and did some additional shopping. The Bison cuts I got were delicious! And my dogs love their Bison food as well.
I love Yankee Farmers Market. From juicy steaks to tender chicken and other meats, their animals are raised the way nature intendedβroaming freely on open pastures, soaking up the sun, and grazing on nutrient-rich grasses. We love the freshness of the meat and the variety. We have had cuts of meat we have never tried before. The fish is tasty as well.
We were happy with the package we received. Since it's just my husband and I it'll take us a while to go through but so far everything is delicious.

The ground bison has a great flavor and I like the fact it is 96% lean.
The bison filet was also quite good and is lean but not dry with a great flavor and tenderness.
My husband and I just finished our very first piece of Bison meat and I have to say that I picked the most perfect cut for the two of us to share. I got my pan real nice and hot melting half a stick of butter - dropped the steak fesh ground salt and pepper turned the heat to 4.5 (med being 6) waited about 5 miutes turned seasoned waited another 5 turned again but now I spooned the melted butter over each side when I turned it. Side dish was mashed potatoe and broccoli. I cut into the steak and it was perfection!! I swear I have a strange obssession with texture and this steaks texture was perfect prime rib....oh my word!!!
I swear if we could afford to eat Bison/Buffalo instead of beef there would be no one that could stop us. I don't know what I was expecting the meat to taste like, maybe venison, I don't know but I am TRULY glad it didn't. I'm hooked and oh so very pleased. Thank you for getting us Buffed!! (I should have known it would be delicious from Phil's review of the knuckle bones he gets).
