Elk Meat

All of our elk meat is USDA inspected. The animals are raised on pasture without hormones or antibiotics.

The health benefits of this meat are similar to buffalo meat. It is very low in fat, cholesterol, and calories. Most importantly, it tastes great.

We work with several small local deer and elk farms to provide the best venison possible. We support farmers who raise their animals the right way. The venison we offer is milder and more delicious than hunted versions.

This is a very lean meat, so it cooks faster than beef and can dry out if overcooked. For steaks, aim for medium-rare to medium and use high-heat methods like grilling or pan-searing. Roasts do well with slow cooking or braising to retain moisture. Ground is perfect for burgers, meatballs, or chili. Always let the meat rest before slicing to lock in flavor and juiciness.
